How to choose the right harness size

A good harness should feel like a firm hug, not a vice. Measure before you buy — weight alone is not enough.
Three numbers to take
1) Neck: around the base of the neck, where a collar would sit. 2) Chest: the widest point just behind the front legs. 3) Weight: useful as a sanity check against the size chart.
Reading the chart
Always size to the chest, then confirm the neck falls inside the same range. If your dog sits between two sizes, size up for comfort — most of ours have adjustable straps with room either way.
Fit check
You should fit two fingers under every strap, the front clip should sit on the chest (not the throat), and there should be no rubbing behind the front legs after a short walk.
